Since completion in December 2000, the property at 184 Main Road Yankalilla has become a familiar landmark. With a 30 metre frontage containing 65 tonnes of local stone, and red brick quoins, the impressive façade is instantly recognisable. The building is the home of Yankalilla Landscape Supplies and the Stone Wall Coffee Shop, which are operated by Craig and Leonie Fitzgerald.

If you are a connoisseur of special Kenyan blend coffee, homemade muffins, cakes, lamingtons and cockles, then you will not be disappointed. With indoor seating for 36, amid ferns, palms and fountains, the coffee shop has another 12 seats outside under the willow tree in the nursery. Herbal teas and soft drinks are also available. After a leisurely coffee, walk into the nursery area, where you will be impressed with the extensive variety of healthy shrubs, trees and seedlings on display.

Craig and Leonie are proud of the comprehensive range of healthy plants available, which are sourced from the best suppliers in South Australia and Victoria. These include annuals, perennials, vegetables, and a wide selection of indoor plants. Ever-popular roses are available in standards, florabunda, miniature, climbing, weeping, ground cover and hybrids.

Lavenders have become increasingly popular with the recent development of a variety of colours, while a large selection of native plants that are suitable for the area are always in stock.

Also in season, healthy well-established fruit trees are available, including the very popular two and three way grafts, which allow different fruits on the one tree.

Glazed pots and urns, an extensive range of terracotta, and fountains from Australia and overseas are on display.

A complete landscaping and gardening service is available, and quotes for paving, garden design and irrigation systems are free.
