The Tin Shed CafeThe Tin Shed Cafe: At McLaren Vale, in the Fleurieu Peninsula

Life's too short for bad coffee, claim the owners of The Tin Shed Cafe, McLaren Vale's newest coffee house and cafe.

The venture has been a whirlwind success for Leanne Laing and Jenny Rovina, who opened the business only 12 months ago. An increasing clientelle and a recent first prize at the Fleurieu Peninsula Barista Challenge means business is booming for this delightful gourmet coffee house.

Coffee lovers will enjoy the Macchiato, a double short black with a drizzle of milk and those who prefer tea will love the Chai Latte, an Indian dessert tea flavoured with cinnamon, cardamon and nutmeg - delicious!

They also have a variety of hot chocolate, frothy milkshakes and a refreshing range of juices featuring fat-free sorbet and anything from banana and pineapple to watermelon, fresh lemon and mango.

It is literally impossible to stay for a drink without being tempted by the food, whether it's a naughty indulgence from the dessert display or a light and tasty meal from their menu. It's all good at The TIn Shed Cafe - sample the warm Cajun salad, the Thai pancakes or choose from the range of quiches, all served with salad and in-house dressing.

Many return to feast on the foccacias and baguettes, stuffed with all sorts of fabulous fillings - try Aldinga turkey, camembert cheese and snow pea sprouts, or Tandoori chicken, cheese and sweet mango chutney. Mmmm!

The Tin Shed Cafe is open every day so make sure you drop in for an award-winning cuppa soon!
