In keeping with the ‘coastal’ theme and décor, the Bucket and Spade bar features three figureheads, rowing eights and fours, and old clunkers, all suspended from the original cedar beams that miraculously survived two fires. During the cooler months, the Bucket and Spade still has two fires, one at each end of the bar, and each with a decadent couch for optimum comfort. Nothing is better than a bottle of quality red while sitting by an open fire in the middle of winter.
Relax, and absorb the atmosphere of this magnificent beachside hotel. Watch the sunset from one of the many vantage-points, or enjoy your favourite beers, wines or spirits from the depths of a comfortable chair. Tuesday night is Kareoke night, while Thursday, Saturday and Sunday nights ‘boom’ with the sound of live music of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Each Friday night at the Bucket and Spade is promotion night, providing a wide range of entertainment for guests.
On the upper level of the hotel complex, the Blue Swimmer Restaurant is where patrons meet to enjoy good company, superb cuisine, and excellent wines.
