Only a 25 minute scenic drive from the centre of Adelaide, Nepenthe Wines is situated at Jones Road, Balhannah and just minutes out of historical Hahndorf. Nepenthe Wines, set amongst the beautiful Adelaide Hills, have produced some soul reposing potions of their own: uncompromising wines of outstanding quality and internationally recognised distinction. The fruit grown by Nepenthe is sourced from their three vineyards totalling approximately 80 hectares in size and are located at Lenswood, Charleston and Balhannah.
The main varieties grown are:
Cabemet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Riesling, with small parcels of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and Semillon
