Mannum Dock Museum Mannum Dock Museum

A visit to Mannum Dock Museum is a delightful journey into yesteryear, where you can immerse yourself in the experience of this major river town.

The museum houses numerous permanent and touring displays to enchant children and adults alike.

There are displays covering the origin of the region from the time when it was part of the inland sea, the life of the indigenous Ngarrinjeri people, the exciting river trade era, through to the present day.

The museum has a theatrette with regularly changing programs about the River Murray and surrounding regions.

Children will especially enjoy the fishing activity and steering a riverboat.

Just outside the museum is the famous Randell's Dry Dock and the restored Paddle Steamer Marion. Regular cruises are now available on PS Marion.

The Mannum Dock Museum incorporates the Mannum Visitor Information Centre, and should be your first stop when you visit Mannum.
