Cabins feature two bedrooms, a dining table, colour television, microwave, oven and reverse cycle air-conditioning.

The park features a private ski beach, a barbecue area with two coin-operated barbecue plates; a laundry with washing machines, dryers and a clothes line; and a kiosk selling a range of groceries, drinks, sweets, ice, fishing tackle, bait, gas refills, oil, film and batteries.

The Long Island Marina offers a range of luxury or economy houseboats for hire. Both short and long term stays are welcome. Their houseboats can accommodate 2-12 persons in absolute comfort with heating in winter and cooling in summer. Enjoy use of the houseboats' kitchens and lounge rooms, up to four bedrooms, and sun decks for relaxing and fishing. All you need is a car license to become the captain of your own vessel!

"The Long Island Caravan Park and Marina is such a good central point for holidaying in South Australia," said Lorraine.

"It's central to the Hills, the Barossa, Fleurieu Peninsula and the city. Visitors can leave their caravans here and take day trips to each of these locations."

Murray Bridge has many local attractions too - a drive in theatre, Dundee's Wildlife Park and excellent shops make it a great place to visit. Lorraine and Bob can give you plenty of ideas for things to do and they can provide maps and brochures too.
