Surround yourself with an abundance of lollies and sweets at Kathy's Old-fashioned Sweet Shop. You can't help but feel excited at this delightful shop and it's hard not to be greedy, especially when all your old favourites are staring at you from every corner!

In fact it is not only the superb presentation of the sweets that tempt you, but the lovely smell. And, of course, a friendly 'sweet expert' standing nearby to help you with your super sweet selection. This 'sweet expert' is owner Lesley Spencer. Although her senses have somewhat suffered sweet overkill, she is a walking information source when it comes to all things sweet. If it's an old-fashioned sweet then chances are she stocks it, but if not, she can help you track down that rare favourite and have it ready for you the next time you visit the store.

Take home imported Dutch licorice, Blackpool rock, Lee's orginal macaroon bars, Topic and Toffee Bon Bons, Thornton's English toffee, gobstoppers, lolly watches, sherbets, acid drops, peanut brittle, giant lollipops and lots more. Lesley even makes her own Scottish Tablet which customers say is just like the real thing!

The chocolate selection is incredible too. Browse through award-winning Pink Lady chocolates, homemade giant freckles and chocolate frogs, fine Swiss chocolate, chocolate-covered fruit and nuts, soy chocolate and a range of sugar-free chocolates and sweets.

Take home your favourites in a bag or let Lesley help you create the perfect gift basket for that someone special.

Kathy's Old-fashioned Sweet Shop is open seven days between 10am and 4.30pm. It's a lovely store with plenty of room for all the family and is wheelchair accessible. Don't leave it until Easter - indulge yourself now
