Chef Michael McMahon has been serving innovative modern Australian cuisine to Barossa locals and tourists for many years and has developed an excellent reputation for his outstanding use of fresh regional produce. Dine by the lake or in the rustic charm of the loft (pictured) with its delightful vineyard views.
Examples from the starters menu include pumpkin and ricotta ravioli with a smoked salmon and cream sauce; hot cripsy duck salad; and baked vegetable and leek strudel. Treat your tastebuds with one of the exquisite main meals, including pan-fried ocean trout, sugar-cured kangaroo fillet on a bed of caramelised sweet potato, and chicken breast with a rice, pine nut and preserved lemon stuffing in a light mustard seed sauce.
The desserts are another story in themselves! Kaesler's sticky date pudding with caramel sauce, cream and vanilla ice-cream is a must, as is the poppy seed cake with hot quinces poached in Kaesler white wine and served with quince ice-cream.
After satisfying your culinary desires you can retreat back to your very own cottage offering privacy, comfort and intimacy with spa bath, bath robes, sofa, fridge, airconditioning and tea/coffee making facilites. All three cottages are tastefully decorated, merging the modern comforts with traditional style. Brass, baltic pine and rich textures create a cosy and romantic atmosphere.
The stunning Kaesler cellar-door (pictured) is located only a stone's throw away too, so make sure you sample their superb wines and take a bottle or two with you to enjoy from the comfort of your room.

Kaesler Estate Restaurant is open for lunch every day between 12-3pm and for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights between 7-9pm. The cellar-door is open every day also between 10am-5pm.
