A visit to the Gawler South Bakery is a tradition for many people. City-dwellers stop off here on their travels to the outer regions for delicious hot pies and pasties and scrumptious buns and pastries. Locals also flock to this bakery for daily helpings of freshly made rolls and quality coffee.

The Gawler South Bakery is conveniently located on Adelaide Road, making it easy to pull over and dash in for tasty treats on the way to the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and Riverland.

There are seven fridges stocked full of your favourite softdrinks, juices and flavoured milks and there is plenty of room for families to move around and make their selection.

Customers are welcome to take a seat indoors to enjoy their meal, or enjoy the fresh air and be seated outside the shop or to the side in the lovely courtyard.

As well as the usual bakery products there are quiches, focaccias, hot dogs and hot soup available. There is also an excellent vegetarian range with potato and vegie pies, spinach and cheese rolls and more.

It is certainly hard to stop at a savoury snack! Many succumb to the temptation of the wonderful displays of cakes, slices, donuts, biscuits and muffins.
