The Crafers Inn
If you take a visit up into the picturesque hills suburb of Crafers you will come across a beautiful historic Inn. The Crafers Inn was built in the 1800's and was owned by David Crafers and was frequented by local woodcutters who enjoyed the atmosphere. Once you have visited the Crafers Inn you can understand why. Inviting open fires and an extensive al-a-carte menu including roasts, schnitzel, fish, steaks, kangaroo, chicken, crepes and vegetarian meals all served with country vegetables or salad make the Crafers Inn a venue to suit everyone. Owners Monica and Ian Carter will tell you that the best thing about the meals is they are great value for money. "But personally I think the deserts need a mention as they are made on the premises" says Monica. "You can even drop in for a cappuccino and a piece of cake." Music lovers will also enjoy the Folk Club on the first and third Sunday of each month. The Crafers Inn is at 4 Main Rd at Crafers and any enquires can be made on (08) 8339 2050 or email info@postcards.sa.com.au
