Cleland Wildlife Park Cleland Wildlife Park

Cleland Wildlife Park is nestled in the beautiful bushland of the Adelaide Hills, only 20 minutes drive from the Adelaide city centre.

Within its 35 hectares of natural bushland, Cleland has over 120 species of Australian native wildlife on display. The Park is open range, so visitors are free to feed and mingle at their leisure amongst the many species of kangaroos, yellow footed rock wallabies, emu's, water birds, bush birds, bandicoots, bettongs, potoroos and more. The Park also has wombats, dingo's, Tasmanian Devils, a variety of snakes & lizards (including goannas), bilby's & a Cleland favourite, the Koala's.

Visitors can experience a koala close-up at our twice-daily sessions (from 10.00 -12.00 & 2.00 - 4.00). Visitors are also provided an opportunity to hold a koala & have a souvenir photo taken of their experience (fee applies).

Learn more about the animals of the Park at the daily interactive feeding sessions. Visitors can listen to the keeper talks at each location & ask any questions they may have.

Experience the nocturnal world of Cleland on a guided nightwalk (bookings essential). Why not get a group together & combine your nightwalk with dinner in the licenced café. Daytime tours for groups can also be arranged & combined with morning/afternoon tea or lunch.

Cleland also offers regular school holiday activites, education packages & special interactive "Wildshows". Please feel free to contact us for your copy of the annual Cleland Calendar of events listing all the fun activities throughout the year.
