Café Miramare was established in 1996 in its current location at 10 Jetty Road, Glenelg (Moseley Square). The Scuteri family who are the original proprietors and are still there today, have all contributed their individual talents to create one of the leading café's in Glenelg. The big Italian family have reached their third generation of restaurateurs, who find that running the show is in their blood and just comes naturally.
Apart from superior quality espresso coffee, cakes, biscuits and one of the best authentic large selections of homemade gelati in Adelaide, the menu boasts everything you'd expect from a fine Italian café. On offer is gourmet wood oven pizza, traditional home made pasta including an extensive vegetarian range, soup of the day, risotto, top quality char-grilled steaks, scaloppine veal dishes, fresh oysters and seafood, focaccias, bruschettas and many more delicious treats.
One can casually go out for breakfast at Café Miramare 365 days of the year, anywhere from 8.00am until 12noon. Whether it's bacon and eggs, cereal, raison toast, pancakes, fruit salad or muffins your heart desires, one can be assured of freshness, quality and great tasting meals at all times, at affordable prices.
The café has plenty of al fresco dining space featuring wonderful views of the beach and jetty. One can relax peacefully under the market umbrellas in the fresh sea air or in the open sunshine if they so choose, soaking up the vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere. The City to Bay tram stops just 15 metres from the Café, which makes things nice and easy.
Featured in the décor is a warm, rich, modern, relaxed, stylish and colourful interior which is delightful all year round, despite weather outside. The bar is fully licensed so one can enjoy a drink anytime. Choose from the large selection of beers, spirits, wines and beverages of almost every type imaginable.
